YPP-TNI AL - Situbondo Regional Government Holds Health Service

The Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation (YPP) in collaboration with the Indonesian Navy and the Situbondo Regency Government held a health social service in Sumberejo Village, Banyuputih District, Situbondo Regency, East Java, Saturday morning July 13, 2019. The activity was held as part of the 37th Armada Jaya exercise in 2019. Various forms of activities were held such as general medicine, circumcision and minor surgery for underprivileged residents located around the Marine Combat Training Center or Puslatpur Karang Tekok Situbondo.

Since morning, the residents, who were mostly senior citizens and children, had come to the field in Sumberejo Village, Banyuputih Sub-District, Situbondo Regency, East Java to get their health checked. That day, 287 people received health services, consisting of 213 people receiving general medical services, 64 people undergoing circumcision and 10 people receiving minor surgery services. Present to review the activity were the Regent of Situbondo, Dadang Wigiarto and his staff; the Chief of Staff of the Navy, Admiral Siwi Sukma Adji and a number of Navy officials. Baksos health is a concrete manifestation of the Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation in channeling donations from loyal viewers of SCTV and Indosiar.
