The Chairman of Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih (YPP), Mr. Imam Sudjarwo, received an award as a PUB (Money and Goods Collection) Organizer in the category of Compliance in Submitting Reports delivered by the Minister of Social Affairs, Mr. Idrus Marham, in Jakarta on March 13, 2018. Compliance in submitting reports to the Ministry of Social Affairs is a manifestation of YPAPK maintaining a transparent and accountable attitude in managing SCTV/Indosiar viewers' funds collected through YPAPK accounts. Periodically, every time YPAPK wishes to conduct a fundraising event, it submits a written proposal to the Ministry of Social Affairs in accordance with the prescribed regulations. Likewise, after collecting the donations and goods for 3 months, YPAPK will provide written reports, both temporary and permanent.
In his remarks, as quoted from Detik.com (13/3/2018), the Minister of Social Affairs invited the involvement of entrepreneurs to deal with social problems in society, such as poverty, unemployment, and drugs. The minister said the assistance programs provided by the government such as the Family Hope Program (PKH), Rastra, and KIP helped reduce the burden on the community. "I say this, I think in the future we need to improve the program for the poor to change their status. In the framework of this program, I have drawn a line, we must create partnerships with both ministries and existing entrepreneurs," he said. Through this meeting, the Minister invited the participation of entrepreneurs to be involved in government programs for the community. He also invited entrepreneurs to provide ideas and real contributions. For information, in 2017 the Ministry of Social Affairs granted 1,338 UGB and PUB licenses, with social welfare business funds that have been distributed to PMKS amounting to Rp 96,915,064,000 and non-tax state revenue (PNPB) of Rp 846,307,901 and receipt of prizes not guessed (HTT) or prizes not taken by winners (HTDP) of Rp 3,528,160,000.
