YPP Collaborates with PERDAMI East Java and Bhayangkara Nganjuk Hospital to Hold Cataract Surgery in Nganjuk, East Java

On June 11, 2022, SCTV Indosiar Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation supported the Cataract Surgery Social Service program organized by PERDAMI East Java and Bhayangkara Nganjuk Hospital. Many patients came from families unable to afford participating in this program that was held by PERDAMI East Java, wherein 4 ophthalmologists and 5 assistants were deployed. 

Yasnan, a patient from Kedondong Village, Bagor District, Nganjuk Regency, was a participant of this activity. The 62 year old man had a work-related accident which resulted in him losing one of his hands. In addition, he had complained about his deteriorating vision. When he arrived at Bhayangkara Hospital, the Security and Public Order officers aided Yasnan in following the entire process of carrying out the cataract surgery. Yasnan hopes that this surgery will help him see clearly again and reduce difficulties in carrying out his daily activities.
