YPP - AO Care - PERDAMI and Indramayu Health Department Organize Cataract Surgery in Indramayu Regency

Although the Covid 19 Pandemic is still spreading, YPP - Alpha Omega Care - West Java PERDAMI - Cicendo Hospital and the Indramayu Regional Health Department held a Cataract Surgery Social Service program on March 9, 2021 for people in Indramayu. The target number of patients to be operated on was 50 eyes and was held at UPTD Sukra, Indramayu. This cataract surgery social service program was held in collaboration with a medical team from West Java PERDAMI - Cicendo Hospital as well as the Ministry of Health Community Movement. This program was in high demand amongst the people of Indramayu, who have conveyed this need to the Indramayu Health Office in 2020. However, plans were suspended due to the COVID 19 outbreak. It was only able to be realized in 2021 by carrying out activities while implementing strict health protocols using rapid tests and testing blood sugar and blood pressure levels as a standard preliminary examination in cataract surgeries.
