Routine Cataract Surgery Social Service at RSCM Kirana, Collaboration with KANA Clinic & PERDAMI Jaya

September 23, 2017, the second/third monthly Mass Cataract Operation Social Service was held at RSCM Kirana from 07.00 until completion. This cataract surgery was a collaboration between YPAPK, Kana Clinic and PERDAMI Jaya. A total of 49 cataract patients were successfully operated on out of more than 100 participants who were screened. Some participants did not pass the screening due to high blood pressure, high blood sugar, eyeball pressure and other medical reasons.

It is hoped that this activity can help the Government's "Cataract Free 2020" program and can help patients regain their vision, so that they can become independent individuals and live a better life.
