Free Cataract Surgery in Bandung, West Java

Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih (YPP) SCTV Indosiar together with the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs and the Indonesian Ophthalmologist Association (PERDAMI) organized a Cataract Surgery Social Service at RSAU dr. M. Salamun Bandung on March 6-7, 2025 and supported by 29 Medical Teams from PERDAMI.

The patients came from Bandung, Cimahi, Bandung Regency and West Bandung Regency. From this activity, 79 cataract patients were successfully operated on.

This activity was attended by the Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs, Mr. Saifullah Yusuf; CSR Director of PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCM)/ Chairman of YPP, Mr. Imam Sudjarwo and Head of RSAU dr. M. Salamun, Colonel Kes. Aplin Ismunanto.
