Free Cataract Surgeries in Karawang

SCTV Indosiar's Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation (YPP), in collaboration with PERDAMI’s Central Cataract Blindness Management Division, held a Cataract Surgery Social Service program in RSUD Karawang. YPP and PERDAMI’s Central Cataract Blindness Management Division set a goal of 100 patients healed in the Karawang area. Most of the patients were elderly and came from underprivileged communities. Apart from that, the patient's family members worked as ordinary factory workers. The patients expressed their gratitude toward YPP and PERDAMI’s Central Cataract Blindness Management Division for providing free cataract surgeries to people in need.
