200 Youngsters Participate in YNSA 2019

Young Navy Social Adventure (YNSA) is back...!!!! The program that aims to build a maritime spirit and recognize the maritime potential of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia this time was held in North Sulawesi on June 18-21, 2019. Departing from the Navy port, Bitung, the Head of Maritime Potential Office (Kadispotmar), Navy Headquarters Brigadier General Donar Philip Rompas released the Young Navy Social Adventure (YNSA) group in a ceremony on the KRI dr Soeharso Helicopter Platform. This ship is a mobile hospital ship owned by the Navy which is like a large hospital complete with various supporting facilities. Before departing, around 234 participants carried out social actions to clean the beach, packing and distributing groceries to 400 fishermen who live around the port of Bitung. While on board, participants underwent training and various activities that were expected to forge their young souls to have a maritime character, understand the insight of the archipelago and defend the country.
