
In celebration of SCTV's 31st anniversary, SCTV supported COVID-19 vaccinations with the "Xtra Ordinary Vaccine: Protect Yourself Protect the Country” program. In collaboration with the Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation, SCTV supports vaccine activities organized by the Kramat Jati District Health Center on August 23, 2021.
Located at the Kramat Jati District Health Center, Jl. Community Service No. 1 Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, 267 residents 267 residents were successfully vaccinated that day. Kramat Jati Health Center provides 3 types of vaccines: Moderna Vaccine (dose 1) where residents have registered via the special link for the Moderna vaccine, AstraZeneca (dose 1), and the Sinovac vaccine (dose 2) for residents who have registered on the Jaki application. The Moderna vaccine is prioritized for residents with severe comorbidities and residents who live in DKI Jakarta.
According to the Head of the Kramat Jati Community Health Center, Inda Mutiara, the Moderna Vaccine was only launched on Friday, August 20, 2021 at the Kramat Jati Community Health Center. The target for Moderna vaccine services in this activity was 150 people. Previously, the center had been carrying out activities with only 2 vaccines, namely Sinovac and Astrazeneca. On this occasion, Inda hopes that SCTV can help convey education regarding the vaccines to the public to reduce fear and possibility of spread due to being unvaccinated. The vaccination program is part of the government's effort to protect Indonesian people to avoid worsening the Covid-19 Pandemic and end it once and for all.
SCTV and YPP contributed by providing PPE and consumption for health workers on duty in the vaccination activities, as well as snack boxes and masks for participants.
