YPP Provides Climbing Equipment, Coconut Sugar Production Equipment to Coconut Farmers, and Food Packages to Residents of Binangun, Banyumas

In our effort to empower the community, Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation (YPP)  provided 50 stainless steel cooking utensils and 5 tree climbing tools for a group of coconut sugar farmers in Binangun Village, Banyumas on August 19, 2022. 100 food packages were also provided to residents around the Indosiar SCTV transmission office in Banyumas. A symbolic handover of the aid packages, funded by donations from viewers, was carried out by the Executive Chairman of Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation, Imam Sudjarwo.

During the process of acquiring these coconuts, farmers were accustomed to climbing coconut trees manually with minimal consideration of extensive safety measures, which left them vulnerable to the risk of falling from great heights. It is hoped that the provision of these climbing tools can not only improve the productivity of coconut sugar production of farmers in Binangun Village, but also minimize accidents that often happen in this line of work.
