YPP Distributes 850 School Supplies in Sintang Regency, West Kalimantan and Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi.

Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih (YPP) recently distributed school supplies to a number of schools in West Kalimantan and North Sulawesi. The activity took place during two stages, namely February 7-9, 2018 for the Sintang Regency area, West Kalimantan and on February 27-28, 2018 in the Minahasa Regency area, North Sumatra. The number of schools that received assistance was 5 schools in Sintang Regency and 6 schools in Minahasa Regency with a total of 850 packages of school supplies consisting of 1 school bag, books and stationery. The assistance was distributed to students from pre-prosperous families in the 11 schools.

To distribute school supplies in 6 schools in Minahasa Regency, YPP joined hands with Karitas Indonesia Foundation (KARINA) and Minahasa Regency Education Office. The packages were distributed to students in six schools: SDN St Antonius, Padua Kali; SD Katolik 8 St Antonius, Manado Paal IV; SD Gunung Tabor Pakowa; SD St Theresia Ranotongkor; SD St Theresia Paso; SD St Theresia Parepei.

While in Sintang Regency, West Kalimantan the activity took place on February 7 to 9, 2018. To reach the area where the five schools are located, the YPP distribution team traveled overland for 8 hours on the Pontianak-Sintang route using 12 motorbikes. to be able to reach the school location. The five school locations are SDN 25 Gurung Peningkah; SDN 22 Lubuk Besar; SDN 32 Lubuk Besar; SDN 32 Lubuk Besar; SDN 25 Gurung Peningkah; SDN 22 Lubuk Besar; and SDN 32 Lubuk Besar.
