10 public bathrooms have been constructed with the help of donations from Indosiar-SCTV viewers and community members in Margomulyo Hamlet, Ngadirodjo Village, Timboa, Boyolali. However, Timboa village residents still need 15 more public bathrooms in order to carry out their day-to-day activities with proper sanitation. To meet these needs, YPP is holding a fundraiser through Kitabisa.com in the link: Public Bathroom for Timboa Boyolali residents. The total funds that are expected to be raised through this fundraiser is IDR 60 million, with each bathroom costing IDR 4 million to build.
In order to defecate, residents use 'cubluk' toilets that do not guarantee good hygiene and sanitation. YPP collaborated with volunteers from the Garbara Foundation (Garda Bangsa Sejahtera) to work together with the local community to build their toilets. Margomulyo Hamlet, located on the climbing route to Mount Merbabu at an altitude of 1400 meters above sea level, is about 45 minutes from the city of Salatiga where the climate is relatively cool and the livelihood of the population relies on tobacco and vegetable farmers.
