Gender Equality Education in Mataram, Lombok

Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih in collaboration with Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero), Tbk. held a Gender Equality Education program in Mataram, Lombok on August 8-7, 2024 which involved a resource person for social equality fighters and citizens with disabilities from Kediri, Lombok, Mrs. Fitri Nugrahaningrum. She provided education on gender equality in women's social roles and functions in the community.

This counseling aims to educate residents about the true concept of gender and how women carry out their roles and functions to be able to compete in the midst of modernization.

The activity was attended by dozens of housewives in the Pagutan Permai and Kediri areas, Lombok. The event became more interesting with a question and answer session between the women and the resource person. On that occasion, 100 basic food packages were also distributed to mothers who attended the educational counseling activity.
