Batch 1 of AC Cleaning Service & Maintenance Workshop

Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation (YPP) and the Bahtera Maju Indonesia Foundation (YBMI) have worked together to organize programs focused on community empowerment and economic resilience. These initiatives aim to increase income for individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds through developing new skills. Examples include participation in Service Skills training, cleaning, AC maintenance, and entrepreneurship workshops. 

YPP and YBMI have arranged the workshop in hopes that the training will provide useful and applicable skills. Upon completing the training activities, participants are expected to be capable of operating their own professional cleaning and AC maintenance service business.  This will then open pathways to increasing income and improving community welfare.

YPP focused on the general public, namely economically disadvantaged groups, students, cleaning staff in places of worship, and schools, along with individuals in the Bogor and Bekasi Regency area who will be given training and provided with cleaning equipment and AC maintenance packages.

Instructors of this workshop come from the Cleansheet Indonesia Foundation.

The activities for Batch 1 took place at Kopi Takua Cibubur on September 19-21, 2023.

A total of 30 people participated in this workshop, consisting of:

• 15 participants of the Cleaning Service Team
• 15 participants of the AC Maintenance Team

They were then divided into several teams of 3.

Assistance was provided in the form of:

• AC Cleaning Service and Maintenance Instructor & Module
• Consumption and snacks
• Souvenirs
• Cleaning Equipment 
• AC Maintenance Tools

Training activities were carried out for 3 days

• Theory for 1 day and Practical Work for 2 days
• Firsthand Practical Work
• Provision of AC Cleaning and Maintenance Equipment 

After completing the workshop, assistance was provided by the Instructor and YBMI for marketing and quality control of work.

Also present at this workshop were Dwi Fajar Erhan as a representative from YBMI and Dananjoyo as PIC of activities from YPP.
