YPP, TNI, and POLRI Distribute Thousands of Food Packages and Masks to Residents in Karawang, West Java

To help ease the burden on residents affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, YPP and the Military Center for Strategic Studies (Pusjianstra TNI) Headquarters distributed a total of 1,000 food packages and 20,000 cloth masks in Karawang, West Java, on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. This activity coincided with the celebration of the 75th TNI Anniversary with the theme “Synergy for the Country''. The activity was centered at the Karawang Police Station and the distribution to residents was carried out jointly by the Karawang Police Station and the Military District Command 0604 in Karawang as a manifestation of the synergy between the Indonesian Military, Police, and Community. The Karawang region is an area whose economy has taken a huge blow, as many of its residents work as factory laborers who were laid off due to the Covid 19 pandemic. They were reported to have been very grateful for the care and concern from Indosiar and SCTV viewers. The distribution of aid was carried out by visiting residents in their respective homes.
