YPP SCTV Invites Viewers to Help Orphans through SCTV For Orphans 2023

In 2022, viewers of the SCTV channel have put their faith into the 2022 SCTV For Orphans program, of which has borne fruit in the successful distribution of aid to around 86 Foundations, Children’s Social Welfare Institutions, Orphanages, and Islamic Boarding Schools who take orphaned children under their wing.

Proceeds from the fundraising activities totaled to Rp 863,872,569. These funds were collected by the 2022 SCTV For Orphans program and were distributed during Ramadan 1443 H in April 2022 through 8 delivery phases. This was to ensure a wide reach of recipients across Indonesia, such as Maluku, Papua, West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara from eastern Indonesia, as well as other regions, such as Aceh, Sulawesi, Kalimantan, Bali, and beyond.

A symbolic handover was carried out by representatives of SCTV/Indosiar and correspondents in the aforementioned areas. Meanwhile, YPP channels donations directly to the account of the intended institution.

In light of Ramadan 1444 H (mid-March to April 2023), the SCTV For Orphans program will be held again. SCM's CSR Director and Executive Chairman of YPP, Imam Sudjarwo, emphasized that it is part of YPP's duties to successfully conduct the various social programs held by the EMTEK Group. "YPP conducts a number of activities, such as the Free Cataract Surgery program held concurrently with Indosiar's anniversary, the Bridge of hope with SCTV’s Anniversary, and now the SCTV For Orphans program," he said.

These activities serve as manifestations of joint social advocacy between SCTV, Indosiar, and their viewers. Apart from the SCTV For Orphans program’s activities, YPP also celebrates the month of Ramadan 1444 H, holding blood donation campaigns in Yogyakarta, Malang, Semarang, and Sidoarjo.
