YPP - KEMENSOS - KODIM 1605/BELU Rehab 5 Toilets in Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara

On August 30, 2018, we handed over a total of 5 toilets that have been rehabilitated, consisting of 3 toilets for residents of Makes Hamlet, Dirun Village and 2 toilets for Nuawain II Elementary School located in Lamaknen Sub-District, Belu Regency. The rehabilitation of the five MCKs is a form of YPP's collaboration with the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs and Kodim 1605/Belu.

The handover was carried out by the Head of SCTV and Indosiar Bureau, Kupang, Kristo Lembu witnessed by Dandim 1605/Belu, Lieutenant Colonel Czi, I Putu Dwika as well as Dansatgas Pamtas Eastern Sector Yonif 743/Psy and the Subdisinsani AD Research and Development Team. Kristo said that the rehabilitation of 5 toilets is a form of our concern for the condition of the people in the border area.

On that occasion, Putu expressed his gratitude for the cooperation that had been established in the construction of this toilet rehabilitation. He admitted that the construction process was constrained by water problems. However, with the cooperation of Danramil and the school, a water reservoir has now been built to be used in the toilets. "Hopefully this will bring benefits to the residents and students at the school."

The Principal of Nuawain II Elementary School, Benedict Bere Lesu, promised to motivate his 215 students to maintain the toilets built by YPP and the Kodim.
