YPP - Indonesian Naval Base I, Belawan Holds Social Service in Paluh Kurau Village, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency

YPP supported the Health Service Baksos activities organized by Lantamal I Belawan on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. In the activity held in Paluh Kurau Village, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency, food packages were also distributed to patients who sought treatment. To reach the location, the Naval Base I Belawan health team moved from the Naval Base I Port Belawan by traveling for 45 minutes along the river. The presence of the Naval Base Health Team carrying out this social service activity is felt by the community to be very helpful for their medical and health needs.

In that activity, YPP helped fund general treatment for 243 residents, dental treatment for 30 residents, and circumcision for 30 people while Naval Base I Belawan mobilized its medical team and provided basic necessities. The patients came from poor fishermen in Paluh Kurau Village, Hamparan Perak Sub-District, Deli Serdang Regency. The social service was attended by Deputy Commander of Naval Base I and his staff, as well as local officials and community leaders.
