
Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih (YPP) Emtek Media, in partnership with EMC Healthcare, conducted a free medical relief campaign for residents affected by the Flores Earthquake across two locations in Nagekeo Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, on Saturday, September 12, 2026. This healthcare outreach was held to support community health recovery following the disaster.
Location 1 (Labolewa Village, Aesesa District, Nagekeo Regency): A total of 96 residents participated in the medical checkup at the first site, with most presenting symptoms of Hypertension and body aches. The medical operation was supported by EMC Healthcare, deploying 2 general practitioners and 3 nurses. In addition to physical ailments, many residents continue to suffer from trauma caused by the main M 7.7 earthquake on August 15, 2026, alongside frequent aftershocks.
Alongside prescribed medications from EMC Healthcare, patients in Labolewa Village received essential food packages and wellness support items:
Location 2 (SDN Malapoma, Rendubutowe Village, South Aesesa District, Nagekeo Regency): At the second site, a total of 89 residents received free medical care, with the majority diagnosed with Hypertension. Supported by 2 general practitioners and 3 nurses from EMC Healthcare, the team treated patients who remain traumatized by the initial M 7.7 earthquake and recurring aftershocks.
