YPP Donates Food Packages for Orphans in Koja and Residents of Central Jakarta

The Emtek Peduli Corona program continues to help communities affected by the COVID 19 Pandemic through the Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation (YPP). On Friday, June 22, 2020, the YPP Team handed over 500 Emtek Peduli Corona food packages and 1000 cloth masks to the Menteng Metro Police on Jl. Sutan Syahrir No. 1, RT 007 RW 002, Gondangdia Menteng, Central Jakarta. The food packages contained: 

• 5 kg of rice
• 1 kg of flour
• 1 kg of sugar
• 1 liter of oil
• 3 pieces of instant noodles 

These packages will be distributed to residents affected by COVID-19 in the Central Jakarta area.

In a separate place, the YPP Team handed over 100 food packages and 200 cloth masks to Bina Sosial Foundation on Jl. Beting Remaja, Tugu Utara, Koja, North Jakarta. The orphanage, located behind the Islamic Center and in the middle of a densely populated settlement, cares for at least 70 orphans from the surrounding community. One of the caretakers in Bina Sosial Foundation, Andi Opu, gratefully accepted the donation and thanked the viewers of SCTV Indosiar and YPP for their attention and assistance. Apart from Koja, YPP also distributed 50 food packages to residents in the Babelan and East Bekasi areas. In collaboration with Sahabat Indonesia Peduli Foundation, the food packages were given to underprivileged residents, who during the Covid 19 pandemic are finding it increasingly difficult to earn an income.
