
In the midst of aid distribution activities related to the Covid 19 Pandemic, Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation (YPP) continues to complete a number of post-disaster rehabilitation programs in the Sunda Strait region. One of them was carried out in Sumberjaya Village, Sumur District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. This activity is in collaboration with the Office of Maritime Potential, Navy (Dispotmar) which realizes activities including: handing over 20 fishing boats and equipment to fishermen in Sumberjaya Village. The handover was carried out by the Chairman of YPP, Drs. Imam Sudjarwo, M.Si witnessed by Dispotmar officials including Marine Colonel (P) Suwito SE, M.Si, (Han) Sekdispotmar TNI AL, Marine Colonel (P) Mhd Sayuti Lubis, SH, MH Dansatgas Activities, Marine Colonel (P) Golkartiyansah, SE, Danlanal Banten, Major Mar Ahmadi, Spd, Palaksa Lanal Banten.
On the same occasion, YPP also handed over aid packages to Sumberjaya Village residents, including residents who had occupied temporary shelters when they were displaced by the Sunda Strait tsunami at the end of 2018. Donations consisting of 250 basic necessities, 750 masks, 10 disinfectant sprayers and 250 Lt of disinfectant liquid were handed over through local government officials including the Head of Sumur Sub-District, Mr. Heru and Sumberjaya Village Head, Mrs. Siti.
In addition to these two activities, the Chairman of YPP also laid the first stone to mark the beginning of the rehabilitation of SDN Sumberjaya 1, Kec. Sumur, Kab. Pandeglang, Banten.
