YPP Distributes Ramadan Groceries to Dhuafa, Orphans and Santris in Jakarta

In this month of Ramadan, YPP does not stop its activities to distribute food packages. This time, YPP distributed Ramadan Sembako packages on May 2 to 5, 2021, in a number of places, namely to Orphans and Dhuafa at Nurul Huda Musholla, Jl Haji Nurdin Bulak Barat, Cipayung, Depok; Students of Ilmu Quran (PIQ) Al-Misbah Boarding School, Jl RE Martadinata Bak Air 1, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta; and Residents of RT 07, RW 05, Tegal Alur, Kalideres, West Jakarta. YPP hopes that this food package assistance can help ease the burden caused by the pandemic and provide joy to undergo Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1442 H. 

The distribution of food packages is carried out by implementing health protocols, remembering the ongoing pandemic. The food packages distributed consisted of: 

  • 5 kg of rice
  • 1 liter cooking oil
  • 1 kg of sugar
  • 1 kg of flour 
  • 3 packets of instant noodles

In addition to the food packages, YPP also provided 100 cloth masks. The number of food packages distributed is different in each location mentioned above.

In Mushola Nurul Huda, Cipayung, Depok, the number of food packages distributed amounted to 40 food packages in total. They were handed over to the Mushola management to be delivered to the Orphans and Dhuafa.

At the Al Misbah Quran Studies Boarding School (PIQ), a total of 200 food packages were distributed and received by the Head of the Boarding School KH. Misbahul Munir.

In the next location, YPP distributed Sembako Ramadan to local residents in RT 07, RW 05, Tegal Alur, Kalideres, West Jakarta. The activity took place at the RT07/RW 05 Hall in Jl. Toram Dalam, no 90, RT 07, RW 05, Tegal Alur. It was done in collaboration with Mitrapol Peduli led by Brigadier General Dr. Victor Pudjiadi, SpB, FICS, DFM as Chairman of the Mitrapol Board of Trustees. Here, 200 food packages were distributed as much as those distributed in other locations. The residents also received 400 cloth masks, as well as Eid packages in the form of sarongs, peci, koko clothes, Mukena, and prayer mats.
