YPP Distributes Masks at Class II A Women's Correctional Facility, Tangerang

The Emtek Peduli Corona program provided assistance to prisoners through the Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation at Tangerang Class IIA Women's Prison on Friday, March 12, 2021.

YPP collaborated with the Anugrah Goshen Indonesia Foundation to distribute 750 masks. 

This women's prison houses 350 prisoners, 49 of whom are from foreign countries.

The distribution of masks was carried out when the prisoners were conducting worship activities at the mosque and church, as well as when they were conducting other activities, such as sewing and working at the salon. 

To minimize the spread of the COVID 19 virus in prison, prisoners are not allowed to receive visits from their relatives. However, recognizing the inmates’ need to communicate with their families, the Zoom application has been provided by the prison to fulfill this need. 

The provision of this assistance aims to highlight YPP’s support to protect inmates from the COVID 19 spread. We hope this assistance will be useful for all because their hope rests in your care.
