YPP Distributes Food Packages to Underprivileged Communities in Collaboration with Citra Bhayangkara Weekly

Celebrating Indonesian Women's Day, Emtek Peduli Corona  distributed 300 basic food packages through Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation (YPP) Indosiar-SCTV on Sunday, March 27, 2022. This activity was done with Weekly Citra Bhayangkara located at the Citra Bhayangkara Secretariat, Jl Otista 3, East Jakarta. The distribution supported financially restricted residents, the elderly, and widows who have been economically affected by the COVID 19 pandemic that has lasted for 2 years now.

The packages distributed contained:

• 5 kg  of Rice
• 1 kg of Sugar
• 1 kg of Flour
• Sweet Soy Sauce 
• 25 Teabags
• 3 sticks of Margarine
• 1 can of Small Sardines

Present at this activity were all the staff and committee from Citra Bhayangkara Weekly, as well as the heads of the neighborhood who came to accompany the residents taking part in the activity. The distribution was carried out in phases—morning, afternoon and evening—using a coupon system. Taking into account some of the elderly’s physical disabilities, some packages were delivered to their homes by the YPP team and the committee. 

On behalf of the Committee, Imanuel Medellu, Secretary of Citra Bhayangkara, expressed his gratitude to YPP SCTV Indosiar for supporting Citra Bhayangkara's activities in helping residents around Otista. Around 7 neighborhoods received the packages.
