
On Monday, February 15, Emtek Peduli Corona YPP SCTV Indosiar and Bukalapak provided food packages to market porters in four markets in Yogyakarta. Located at the Beringharjo Market Hall, representatives of these market porters received the food packages handed over by the Chief Executive of YPP, Abas Yahya, while still implementing health protocols. In addition to Beringharjo Market, food packages were also distributed to the market porters in Gamping Market, Kranggan Market, and Giwangan Market. In Beringharjo Market, 254 packages were handed over, 42 packages in Gamping Market, 13 packages in Kranggan Market, and 142 packages in Giwangan Market. In total, 450 food packages were distributed in the four markets. The distribution was done in collaboration with Yasanti (Yayasan Annisa Swasti). Market porters are included in the list of informal workers whose livelihoods are severely affected by this Pandemic.

Aside from porters, Emtek Peduli Corona YPP SCTV Indosiar and Bukalapak also distributed food packages to residents affected by COVID 19 in Meijing Wetan Hamlet, Ambarketawang Village, Gamping Sleman with a total of 56 food packages.
