YPP Distributes Food Packages in Tangerang, Garut, Kalibaru, Sunter, Jatisampurna, Ciracas, Cikarang

The YPP Team's activities in distributing food packages continue to be carried out as part of Emtek Peduli Corona activities both in Jakarta and in other regions. This pandemic has a huge impact on underpriviledged people who's live are increasingly tighter due to the increased limitation of their mobility to fulfill their needs. Here are the activities of the YPP Team distributing a number of basic food packages, the result of donations from viewers of SCTV, Indosiar, Bukalapak Users, Liputan 6.com, Vidio.com and O Channel.

Kopo, Serang, Banten

In Mekar Baru Village, Kopo, Serang, Banten, the YPP Team distributed 150 food packages and 450 cloth masks to the Al-Hikmah Nurqolbi Foundation at Panunggalan Village, RT. 010 / RW. 003 Mekar Baru Village, Kopo, Serang, Banten on July 29, 2020. This foundation educates as many as 150 orphans and underpriviledged children. According to the Chairman of Al-Hikmah Foundation, H. Sonhaji, the assistance from Emtek Peduli Corona through YPP is very useful and helps him overcome the lack of donations to his institution. According to him, this donation is the first assistance they have received during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Pasar Kemis and Sepatan Paku Haji, Tangerang

Monday, July 27, 2020, the YPP Team distributed 208 food packages and 624 pcs of cloth masks to residents of Sindang Sari Pasar Kemis, Tangerang. These food packages were distributed to underprivileged residents and have not received assistance covering 3 Neighborhood. In this occasion, the YPP team handed over food packages containing, among others: 5 kg rice; 1 liters cooking oil; 1 kg granulated sugar; 1 kg flour; 4 pcs instant noodles. On the same day, still in Tangerang area, the YPP Team moved to the Sepatan Paku Haji area, Tangerang to distribute 150 food packages and 450 pcs of cloth masks to local residents. The food packages, which contained the same contents, were delivered to residents who according to them had not received government assistance. Distribution in this area, the YPP Team was assisted by residents' representatives because there was already 1 family affected by COVID 19.

Residents of Cibatu Village, Garut, West Java.

A total of 500 food packages from YPP in the framework of Emtek Peduli Corona activities, delivered through Tut Wuri Handayani Foundation Cibatu Village, Cibatu District, Garut, West Java were distributed to residents on Tuesday, July 28, 2020. Symbolically, the Foundation's management handed over to the local government in a simple ceremony as an implementation of health protocols. Furthermore, the food packages were distributed from house to house to residents affected by the Covid 19 pandemic.

Sunter and Kalibaru Area, North Jakarta

The YPP SCTV Indosiar team and Bukalapak distributed food packages in two locations in North Jakarta. The first location, food packages were distributed to Respek Peduli Halfway House on Jl. Agung Barat 4 Blok B1 No. 12 B RT. 001 / RW. 010 Sunter, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta as many as 50 food packages containing 5 kg of rice, 1 kg of sugar, 1 liter of cooking oil, 1 kg of flour and 4 bks of instant noodles and 150 pcs of cloth masks. These groceries and masks are intended for residents of the shelter who are undergoing treatment and treatment in the hospital. Second location, distributed to Pulung Pinasti Lestari Foundation at Jl. Kalibaru Barat VII Gg. Manunggal VII RT. 005 RW.015 Kalibaru, Cilincing, North Jakarta. Food packages were distributed as many as 300 packages. In addition, 900 cloth masks were also given.

The majority of people in this area are fishermen and mussel peelers. As conveyed by one of the residents fostered by the Pulung Pinasti Lestari Foundation, Mrs. Tarsini, who works daily as a sheller, who felt greatly helped by the basic food assistance from viewers through the Emtek Peduli Corona activity. This pandemic has made her economic life more difficult. The wage she earns as a sheller is only Rp 3500/kg, while in one day Mrs. Tarsini can only shell up to 5 kg to 7 kg of shells.

Jatisampurna, Bekasi

Emtek Peduli Corona through YPP Indosiar SCTV on July 28, 2020 distributed aid in the form of basic necessities to Paguyuban Satria 84 in Jatisampurna, Bekasi as many as 500 packages and 1600 pcs of cloth masks. The plan is that, by the management of Paguyuban 84, the food packages will be given to the Cibinong Kodim to be distributed to residents affected by Covid-19 around Cibinong. The basic necessities provided include 5kg of rice, 1lt of oil, 1kg of sugar, 1kg of flour, 4pcs of instant noodles,

Tanjung Baru Village, Cikarang

EMTEK Peduli Corona through YPP Indosiar SCTV on July 23, 2020 distributed aid in the form of basic necessities for residents of Tanjung Baru Village Rt 03 Cikarang as many as 200 packages and 600 pcs of cloth masks. The Resident Coordinator, Mrs. Zara, expressed her gratitude for the viewers' donations through YPP in this Entek Peduli Corona activity, considering that the residents of RT 03, according to her, have never received social assistance, even though most of the residents are factory workers who were laid off. Just like in other areas, the basic food packages provided contain, among others, 5 kg of rice, 1 litre of oil, 1 kg of sugar, 1 kg of flour, 4 pcs of instant noodles.

Ciracas, East Jakarta

Meanwhile, in the Ciracas area, East Jakarta, the EMTEK Peduli Corona activity through YPP Indosiar SCTV distributed food packages to ciracas residents totaling 325 packages and 975 pieces of cloth masks. This aid was delivered to residents who have been economically affected by the Covid 19 Pandemic, namely residents who lost their jobs, migrants who do not have legal identity documents so they cannot access social assistance from the local government.

Pondok Bambu, East Jakarta

For residents of Pondok Bambu flats, EMTEK Peduli Corona through YPP Indosiar SCTV distributed 200 food packages and 600 pieces of cloth masks. These food packages were handed over to help elderly flat residents who lost their benefits.
