08-29-2022YPP Distributed Food Packages to Yatim Mandiri, Tangerang
SCTV Indosiar Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation (YPP) provided food packages to orphans and underprivileged communities assisted by Yatim Mandiri, August 26, 2022. The distribution of food packages took place at the Yatim Mandiri South Tangerang Office, South Jakarta, Jl. H. Taip Gg. Hindun No. 091, Kedaung, Pamulang, South Tangerang City.
YPP distributed 100 food packages consisting of:
- 5 kg of rice
- 1 liter of Cooking Oil
- 1 kg Granulated Sugar
- 1 kg of Wheat Flour
- 3 packets of Instant Noodles
- 1 Box of 25 Tea Bags
- 425 gr of Canned fish
The orphans involved in the distribution came from Ciputat, Serua, Kedaung, and Rempoa. Some arrived at the location of the distribution by public transportation. Septi, one of the recipients, expressed joy when she received the food package from YPP. She said that the contents of the package will be shared amongst family members. According to Mulyadi, Head of the South Tangerang Yatim Mandiri Branch, the COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on the assistance they receive from donors. He stated that the food packages from YPP SCTV Indosiar were of great help for the orphans they foster.
