YPP Continues Efforts in Helping Residents Affected by the Semeru Eruption through Treatments, Food Packages, and School Supplies

On March 14, 2022, Emtek Peduli Semeru YPP SCTV Indosiar provided free treatment in collaboration with the Alpha Omega Foundation or AO Care for residents of 1, 2, and 4 Kamar Kajang Hamlet, Sumberwuluh Village, Candipuro Lumajang affected by the eruption of Mount Semeru. 129 patients were treated, many complained about coughs, colds, myalgia, ulcers, high blood pressure, headaches, itching, and rheumatism.

On that occasion, YPP also distributed 101 food packages (consisting of 5 kg of rice, 1 kg of sugar, 1 liter of cooking oil, 2 kg of 425g canned sardines, 5 sachets of Bumbu Racik, 225 ml of sweet soy sauce, 560g of sweetened condensed milk) to each family.

Apart from that, YPP also distributed 75 packages filled with school supplies (backpacks, YPP pins, 10 notebooks, pens, drawing books, 12 colored pencils, rulers, pencils, sharpeners, erasers) to students of Jugosari State Elementary School 03. Some students of this school lived in Sumberlangsep Hamlet where the path to school passes through a location affected by the cold lava of Mount Semeru.

Dalam kesempatan itu, YPP juga bertemu dengan Bupati Lumajang, Thoriqul Haq, untuk mendapatkan gambaran lebih komprehensif mengenai kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap fasum dan fasos pasca bencana.
