YPP Collaborates with the Ismullah Foundation and Kendal Jaring 782 District Health Office Residents for Booster Vaccinations

Emtek Peduli Corona YPP SCTV Indosiar held the Sinopharm Mutual Cooperation Vaccination (VGR) Phase 3/ Booster program at the Ismullah Foundation, Tlangu, Sukorejo Village, Sukorejo, Kendal on May 14 to 15, 2022. Emtek Group provided thousands of doses of the Sinopharm vaccine.

For this activity, YPP SCTV Indosiar collaborated with the Ismullah Foundation, Kendal District Health Service, and the Sukorejo COVID-19 Task Force. During these 2 days, 782 people received the vaccine out of 793 who registered. Participants received 2 liters of cooking oil, taking into account the high costs of cooking oil despite its importance in fulfilling the average individual’s daily needs.

Present on the second day were the Executive Chairman of YPP, Imam Sudjarwo, and Head of the Kendal Public Health Office, Parno, at the closing ceremony of phase 3 of the Sinopharm Mutual Cooperation Vaccine activity. The ceremony was also attended by parties involved in the activity, including the vaccine team, health workers, volunteers, and the COVID-19 task force. The Executive Chairman of YPP expressed his gratitude for the support and cooperation of all parties, as with their cooperation, YPP was able to provide all three doses of the vaccine to the people of Kendal. On the same occasion, PLT Kadinkes Kendal also expressed his gratitude for YPP's trust in working with his agency. "This is the first step towards a prosperous, advanced, and global Kendal Regency," he concluded.

 

Efforts to help mitigate the spread of COVID 19, followed by efforts to strengthen health facilities and health workers who handle COVID 19, then implementing vaccines for the community have become one of YPP's main focuses. YPP has carried out various activities since 2020 and the government declared the status of the COVID 19 pandemic through various aid distributions: PPE, oxygen cylinders, PCR equipment, basic necessities, distribution of masks, support for mass vaccinations, and implementation of vaccinations. All support has been funded by donations provided by the community through YPP.
