In Garut, West Java, on Thursday, 12 November 2020, YPP again collaborated with Wirawati Catur Panca (1945 Female Fighters) to distribute 500 basic food packages and 1,000 cloth masks to residents affected by COVID 19 in Cimuncang, Garut City. Apart from that, donations were also given to flash flood victims in Pameungpeuk, South Garut, and Central Garut, West Java. Present at the activity were the Chief Executive of YPP, Abas Yahya, and the General Chairperson of Wirawati Catur Panca, Pia Sutopo Megananda, who distributed the aid packages directly to residents in need. Although the village is only 30 minutes away from Garut City, the pandemic has worsened conditions within the village. The flash floods from October 12–14, 2020 were also a phenomenon that the residents still had to recover from. Therefore, the food packages (containing 5 kg of rice, 1 kg of wheat, and 1 kg of rice) held a lot of meaning for the residents receiving them.
Come on, let’s help out those in need by sending your contributions to the YPP account or using the application:
