YPP and the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs Distribute Food Packages to Commemorate National Senior Citizen Day 2022 in Tasikmalaya

SCTV Indosiar Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation distributed 1000 food packages and 1000 pieces of Cloth Masks with logos to the elderly in several sub-districts of the Tasikmalaya Regency on May 28–30, 2022. This activity was done in commemoration of National Senior Citizen Day 2022 organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs. The food packages distributed contained: 

• 5 kg of rice
• 1 kg of sugar
• 1 kg of wheat flour
• 1 liter of cooking oil
• 25 tea bags
• 3 packets of instant noodles 
• 425 gr of canned sardines

YPP General Manager, Abas Yahya, distributed 1000 food packages and 1000 cloth masks to Cisayong, Mangunreja, Cigalontang, Jamanis, and several other sub-districts. On this occasion, the Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini, and the General Manager of YPP, Abas Yahya, distributed food packages to residents in Cisayong Village, Cisayong, Tasikmalaya Regency. Tasikmalaya was chosen as the location for the main event to commemorate National Elderly Day, as the regency houses the largest number of elderly people in Indonesia.
