YPP and Lions Club District 307-A1 Distribute Food Packages to Residents of Teluk Naga Vihara, Tangerang

Nearing the 2573 Chinese New Year holiday, YPP collaborated with LION CLUB District 307-A1 to provide 2573 food packages and red envelopes to residents of Teluk Naga Vihara. For this occasion, YPP provided support in the form of 2500 cloth masks, 100 masks with logos, and 10 YPP t-shirts to the congregation of the Tri Maha Dharma Vihara on Jl Kampung Melayu, Teluk Naga, Tangerang Regency, Banten and to 9 other monasteries in Tangerang, nursing homes, and more on January 22, 2022

This collaborative activity underlines YPP and Lions Club District 307-A1’s commitment to spreading care and love to Buddhists, thus welcoming the 2573 Chinese New Year which will be celebrated on February 1 2022. The provision of food packages and masks is enlivened and welcomed by two Lion Dances as a symbol of good luck and protection for the guests attending. Prista Sri Lestari, Chairman of the Foundation and Management of the Tri Maha Dharma Vihara, expressed her thanks for the contributions to the Buddhist community and wished YPP and the Lions Club success and continued assistance for the people of Indonesia. On that occasion, Firman, Coordinator of Lions Club 307-A1 Social Service activities at Tri Maha Dharma Vihara, hoped the collaboration would continue for the great benefits it brought to the community. 

The distribution was carried out using a coupon system to ensure proper organization and adherence to existing health protocols.
