YPP Aids in the Rehabilitation of Kasepuhan Cipta Mulya Water Tank, Sukabumi

Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation (YPP) has collaborated with Tokio Marine Insurance’s CSR division to provide funding for the repairs of two damaged water reservoirs of the Kasepuhan Cipta Mulya indigenous community, Sirnaresmi Village, Cisolok District, Sukabumi, West Java. The traditional leader of Kasepuhan Cipta Mulya, Abah Hendrik Suhendrik Wijaya, said that the tank was very useful for fulfilling the community's need for clean water. He was grateful for the help from SCTV viewers, Indosiar, and also the donations from Tokio Marine's CSR that were delivered through YPP.

The repair of the water tank was carried out in mutual cooperation by empowering both local craftsmen and the Kasepuhan residents. The benefits of this water reservoir are felt through the Imah Gede, a traditional house that shelters around 40-50 families. The handover will be held on November 25, 2021.
