Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Supports Ramadan Blood Donation Drive at Solo Square

Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih (YPP) SCTV Indosiar, in collaboration with the Surakarta City PMI, held a Ramadan Blood Donation Drive on March 12, 2026. The event, held at Solo Square from 10:00 AM to 9:30 PM WIB, successfully collected 513 units of blood from mall visitors and the local community.

This initiative was organized to help secure blood reserves throughout the month of Ramadan until the Eid al-Fitr holidays. As blood stocks typically decline during the fasting month, this successful collection is vital for patients who rely on regular blood transfusions for their ongoing medical treatments.

To support the event, YPP provided 594 ready-to-eat meal packages for the medical staff and the donors who participated. By hosting the drive at a shopping center, the organizers aimed to make it more convenient for the public to donate blood while carrying out their daily activities during the holy month.

The event was attended by the Chairperson of Solo PMI, Mr. Sumartono Hadinoto. Through this synergy, Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih remains committed to contributing to national blood stock stability and assisting those in need of medical support.
