Tree Planting in Pekalongan, Central Java

In celebration of Indosiar's 30th Anniversary, Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih (YPP) SCTV Indosiar held a tree planting activity in Tratebang Village, Wonokerto District, Pekalongan Regency, Central Java.

The event was directly attended by the Regent of Pekalongan, Mrs. Fadia Arafiq, and the Chairman of YPP, Mr. Imam Sudjarwo.

This planting is a long-term investment to improve the quality of the environment. YPP's activities are in order to continue the government's ecogreen program.  The trees planted are expected to grow and absorb carbon dioxide, and provide ecological benefits for future generations.

In addition to tree planting activities, YPP also provided assistance in the form of 100 basic food packages for local residents consisting of 1 Liter of Cooking Oil, Canned Sardines, Sugar, and Instant Noodles.
