Ramadan Blood Donation in Sidoarjo

On April 17, 2023, Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation SCTV Indosiar (YPP) and the Sidoarjo PMI Blood Transfusion Unit held the Ramadan Blood Donation program centered around the theme of "Spreading Kindness in a Month Full of Blessings”.

Located at the UTD PMI Sidoarjo Regency Office, Teak Street 1 Sidoarjo, blood donation activities lasted from 08.00 to 19.00 WIB. UTD PMI Sidoarjo Regency deployed 45 personnel to aid in the program. 503 blood bags were obtained from Ramadan Blood Donation.

The Chairman of the Sidoarjo PMI, Achmad Zaini, hopes that the Ramadan Blood Donation program can contribute greatly to the stock of blood transfusion bags in preparation for Eid. He also hopes that this will not be the last time they collaborate with YPP SCTV Indosiar in activities that aim to provide humanitarian aid, especially in the Sidoarjo Regency.

Hari, a donor from Surabaya who has donated blood 57 times, showed appreciation for YPP SCTV Indosiar’s provision of consumption to the donors. He had also expressed his desire for another blood donation program to be held in the regency, as the Ramadan Blood Donation was the first of its kind in Sidoarjo.

A total of 575 meals were handed over by YPP SCTV Indosiar to donors and staff.
