Ramadan 1445H Blood Donations in Jakarta

In the blessed atmosphere of Ramadan, Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation (YPP) has worked together with Thalassemia Movement, Senayan City, and Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National Central Public Hospital to hold the 2024 Ramadan Blood Donation (DORA) activity on March 22 to 23 2024. The blood donations took place at The Hall, Senayan City, South Jakarta following the slogan, "Sharing Blood, Sharing Life in the Month of Ramadan".

Every year, Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation (YPP) and Senayan City hold a blood donation event as part of their efforts in contributing to society. However, this year’s event proved to be much more meaningful with the participation of Thalassemia survivors in carrying out the activities. DORA 2024 aims to collect blood bags to support Thalassemia survivors, as well as those in need of blood transfusions during Ramadan, when blood bags tend to be low in stock.

This blood donation activity was attended by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy,  Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, who also donated blood himself and happens to hold great interest in Thalassemia Movement.
