Planting 1000 Tree Seedlings at Jabungan Village, Semarang.

Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih (YPP) SCTV Indosiar and Yayasan Lindungi Hutan worked together to plant 1000 Avocado Tree seedlings in Jabungan, Semarang, Central Java on June 15, 2024.

The planting event was attended by the Chairman of YPP, Imam Sudjarwo, the Board of Trustees of YPP, Susanto Suwarto, and the Secretary of YPP, Titi Maria Rusli. 

According to Imam Sudjarwo, this activity was carried out in order to continue the government's Ecogreen program. The concept of Ecogreen is how we preserve the environment, apply environmental friendliness, help clean the air, and avoid flooding.

With this activity of planting 1000 tree seedlings, it is hoped that the trees can prevent erosion and abrasion problems in Jabungan Village, as well as to avoid flooding. In addition, this Avocado Tree planting also provides social benefits for farmers in Jabungan. This activity was carried out together with local farmers and assisted by Central Java Police Mobile Brigade in an area of 4 hectares located in Jabungan Village. 

In addition to planting tree seedlings, YPP also provided assistance in the form of 200 food packages and 60 hoes for farmers who participated in the activity.
