Media Literacy Education at MI Muhammadiyah 1 Depok

Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation SCTV Indosiar (YPP) and kak Resha have, once again, held the Media Literacy Education Program at MI Muhammadiyah 1 Depok on Friday, December 16, 2022.

386 students participated in the event that consisted of 2 sessions, the first session was held for students in 1st to 3rd grade, followed by the second session for students in 4th grade to 6th grade.

This time, Kak Resha brought his little friend, Bombom, a stuffed elephant that has charmed the students throughout his lesson on the importance of media literacy. The students were very enthusiastic listening to Kak Resha’s explanations. The students were invited to sing together and ask questions about Media Literacy.

YPP also brought along the Mobil Weli (Bookmobile) housing various books for the children to read. It is hoped that students will not only be able to grow wisdom in their interactions with social media, but also a fondness of reading.
