Media Literacy at Duren Sawit 01 Pagi State Elementary School, East Jakarta

On December 8, 2025, YPP Indosiar SCTV held a media literacy event with the themes of Anti-Bullying, Wise Use of Social Media, and Anti-Pornography at SDN Duren Sawit 01, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta City.

On behalf of the school, the principal expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the YPP Indosiar SCTV event, which was considered very beneficial. This event was expected to help children become more wise in using social media and understand and be aware of the negative exposure to pornography that can harm children and disrupt their mental development and concentration in learning.

A total of 482 students enthusiastically participated in this outreach activity. The outreach focused on understanding wise social media use, preventing bullying, and the dangers of pornography on social media and in daily interactions, so that students are able to respond wisely and responsibly.

The material was delivered by Ka Dikar KS as a storyteller and presented in an interesting way through interactive games, moral stories, and various simulations. The cheerful atmosphere made it easier and more enjoyable for the children to absorb the information.

Through this activity, YPP Indosiar SCTV emphasized the importance of wise social media habits and building a culture of reading from an early age, so that Generation Alpha can grow into a visual, intelligent, and character-driven generation.
