Mass Cataract Surgery in West Sumbawa Sponsored by BNI Berbagi

YPAPK in collaboration with BNI Berbagi, PERDAMI Bali, Kana Clinic, West Sumbawa Regional Government, held a Mass Cataract Surgery Social Service at Asy-Syifa General Hospital on August 28-29, 2017. This social activity was carried out in order to facilitate poor people in remote areas who need cataract surgery services. Sponsored by BNI Berbagi, 86 patients out of 300 applicants were successfully helped and regained their vision. This activity was also attended by the Regent of West Sumbawa Dr. Ir. H. W Musyafirin M.M., and Vice Regent Fud Syaifuddin S.T. It is hoped that this operation can help poor cataract patients to become more independent and live a better life.
