Iftar with Children in Waru Doyong Village, Jatinegara

The laughter of the children and residents of Waru Doyong, Jatinegara was heard loudly when they heard the tausiah delivered by K.H. Taufiqurrahman, SQ, also known as "Ustadz Pantun" at the iftar event on May 31, 2017.

With humor, the Ustadz conveyed the meaning of fasting, the characteristics of pious children, and the virtues of reading the Qur'an which were easily absorbed by children and local residents.
During the "Tausiyah", the Ustadz also asked questions to the children, and children who could answer questions correctly received souvenirs.

The tausiyah ended with breaking the fast with takjil and Maghrib prayer in congregation led by K.H. Taufiqurrahman, SQ. Furthermore, the children enthusiastically lined up for rice boxes and goodie bags to take home and prepared to do tarawih prayers at the local mosque.

In this activity, YPAPK collaborated with Pondok Kasih Foundation who prepared the location and coordinated with local residents, as well as organizing the event.

In conjunction with Pancasila Day, Pondok Kasih Foundation also held games and gave prizes to children who could answer questions correctly.

This Tausiyah is expected to fill the children's free time in the month of Ramadan and increase their knowledge that leaves an impression on their hearts and can be used as provisions for life in the future.
