12-05-2024Free Cataract Surgery in Tulungagung, East Java
Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih (YPP) SCTV Indosiar in collaboration with PERDAMI's Central Cataract Management Unit (SPBK PP) East Java Region, organized a social service in the form of Free Cataract Surgery at RSU Muhammadiyah Bandung, Tulungagung, East Java from 30 November to 1 December 2024. A total of 28 patients were successfully treated.
This cataract surgery social service program is very beneficial for the people of Tulungagung and its surrounding areas because of its high number of cataract patients, but the high cost of surgery has resulted in many people being unable to undergo surgery independently.
