Free Cataract Surgery in Pelabuhan Ratu

Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih (YPP) SCTV Indosiar, in collaboration with PERDAMI and Darma Usada Netra Eye Clinic, organized a Cataract Surgery Social Service in Pelabuhan Ratu.

The surgery was conducted at the Darma Usada Netra Eye Clinic, Pelabuhan Ratu on April 27, 2024 at 07.00 - 18.00 WIB. This activity succeeded in operating as many as 50 eyes.

According to the Founder of the Clinic, Dr. dr.Vidyapati.W.M, SpM(K), cataract is the leading cause of blindness in Indonesia and is directly related to individual productivity. According to her, the support of YPP SCTV Indosiar in this activity is very helpful for the community in overcoming blindness so that they can move independently.
