05-20-2024Free Cataract Surgery in Central Sumba
Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih (YPP) SCTV Indosiar, in collaboration with Perdami South Sulawesi, held a Cataract Surgery Social Service in Central Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, on May 13-15, 2024. The social service took place at Waibakul Regional Public Hospital, supported by 6 ophthalmologists, 5 residents and 2 nurses.
During this service, 81 patients were successfully operated on, consisting of 78 Cataract patients and 3 Pterygium patients.
