YPP SCTV Indosiar, in collaboration with Central Perdami and Dharma Usada Netra Eye Health Center, held a Free Cataract Surgery social service program, with 50 cataract patients successfully operated on. The patients comprised of mostly fishermen who are regularly exposed to strong sunlight—a common cause of cataract blindness. They have expressed enthusiasm and gratitude for the free surgeries, as many of them were unable to afford surgery due to financial limitations.
