Excitement from the Residents of Sidorejo Hamlet, Grobogan as YPP Inaugurates the Bridge of Dreams, Provides PJJ WIFI, and Distributes Food and Masks

Sidorejo Hamlet is inhabited by around 200 families, most of whom make their living from rice fields and gardens. The hamlet is located in the middle of the Perhutani teak forest, which has recently received access to the main road. The bridge built by YPP in the SCTV Bridge of hope program will replace the old bamboo and wooden bridge that has previously been used for decades and is often washed away by floods.

The Executive Chairman of YPP, CSR Director of Surya Citra Media, and President Director of Indosiar, Imam Sudjarwo, handed over the Bridge of Hope to Slamet, the Head of Sidorejo Hamlet, Karangasem Village, Wirosari District, Grobogan Regency, Central Java. For the community, the Executive Chairman distributed 200 food packages and 500 masks, reminding the community to be disciplined in implementing health protocols, remembering the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic. He also handed over WiFi devices to aid in the students’ online distance learning. 

The Chairman of YPP emphasized that the community should take good care of the assistance provided, considering that they were funded by the donations of the viewers of SCTV and INDOSIAR who are members of the EMTEK GROUP.
