Environmental Health Counseling at Elementary School 012 Kebon Pala, East Jakarta

Counseling with the theme of Environmental Health with Mobil WELI (Wahana Edukasi Keliling) in cooperation with Obor Berkat Indonesia Foundation (OBI) was held at Elementary School 012 Kebon Pala, East Jakarta.

The counseling session was divided into 2 sessions, namely: Session 1 for classes 1,2,4 and Session 2 for classes 3,5,6. Before and after the counseling, pre-test and post-test were given to measure how far the students understood and how much material could be absorbed.

The materials covered included: The Importance of Environmental Health, Sources of Disease in the Environment, Adverse Effects of Dirty Environment, Distinguishing Organic-Non-Organic Waste, and How to Maintain Environmental Cleanliness.

In addition to counseling there were also games, storybook reading sessions and watching educational movies on the Weli car. It is hoped that this counseling can instill an understanding of the importance of a healthy environment in children from an early age so that they can start applying it to themselves and their environment.
