After handing over 10,000 food packages to the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs for residents whose economy was affected by the transmission, Emtek Peduli Corona through YPP continued by distributing 5000 food packages directly to the community on May 6-15, 2020. This time the cooperation partners are small stalls that are members of Mitra Bukalapak. Bukalapak itself is a market place platform that is one of Emtek Group's business units together with SCTV, Indosiar, Vidio, Liputan 6.com and O Channel.
By distributing food packages through the Bukalapak Partner network, Emtek Peduli Corona activities also indirectly revive small and medium enterprises that have also suffered heavy blows due to this pandemic. Given that to support Emtek Peduli Corona activities, Bukalapak has developed a system so that its partners also get benefits that can turn the wheels of sales in their stalls. A total of 50 Bukalapak Partners spread across Jakarta, were involved in the Emtek Peduli Corona Food Package activity.
The mechanism is simple, YPP and Bukalapak partner together or individually look for residents who need help. They are given coupons that they must redeem at the nearest Bukaplapak Partner while showing the Original Coupon and Original Identity Card. Citizens who are registered can come from local residents around the Bukalapak Partner stall area, but can also come from a fairly far location as a result of the survey and assessment of the YPP Team. As a result, various levels of community members came to get a basic food package worth Rp 100,000 which contained: 5 kg of rice, 1 liter of cooking oil, 1 kg of sugar and 1 kg of flour. In fact, in some locations there are Mitra Bukalapak shop owners who sprinkle the Emtek Peduli Corona food packages with instant noodles as a form of their sympathy for residents affected by health protocols to prevent transmission of Covid 19.
