Emtek Peduli Corona Helps Reduce Community Burden (Phase- 3)
Continuation.
Emtek Peduli Corona through YPP will continue to distribute donations from viewers of SCTV, Indosiar, O Channel, Vidio.com, Liputan 6.com readers and online media within the Emtek Business Group as well as Serbu Seru Bukalapak participants. With all the limitations available to us, we strive to reach as wide and as many people as possible who are affected by this pandemic either directly or in collaboration with other humanitarian social organizations with one vision and one heart. Because the reality on the ground often feels absurd, for example when many people cannot afford rent due to layoffs and have to live on grave land or at least close to the cemetery. Our concern is indeed their hope, because we are their fellow countrymen and fellow human beings on whom they rely.
- Thursday, May 21, 2020 - The YPP team distributed the donations to:
- To residents on the edge of the river and the edge of the railroad RT 12 RW 03 Rawa Buaya, Cengkareng, West Jakarta. A total of 50 food packages.
- In addition, 40 food packages were handed over to Yayasan Berkembang Mandiri Indonesia (YBMI) in the Ciledug area, which was received by the head of YBMI to be distributed to orphans under its guidance.
- Still on the same day, the YPP Team distributed 60 packages of Emtek Peduli Corona groceries. These groceries are prioritized for residents who cannot afford to pay rent and cannot afford to rent flats so they are forced to live on government land near the Kebon Nanas Chinese Cemetery, Cipinang.
- Also on this day, 50 food packages were handed over to elderly waria at the Informal Workers Shelter House, Terogong, Cilandak.
- Meanwhile, 20 food packages were handed over by the YPP Team to volunteers from ILUSMAGA ( Ikatan Alumni SMAN 33 Jakarta) at the Daan Mogot Yellow Building. ILUSMAGA will redistribute to residents affected by Covid-19 in East Cengkareng. In addition, 5 other food packages were handed over to newspaper vendors, online motorcycle taxi riders, salon staff who did not work during the Covid pandemic and orphans who live around the Indosiar Office.
